This course is a comprehensive study of the diversity and similarities of living systems. Major inclusions are the concepts of modern biology, animal body systems, evolution, and the diversity of life. Laboratory experiences include microscopic and gross examination of structures, field observation, and behavioral observation of animals and protozoa.
