Statistics is the science and art of extracting answers from data. It involves collecting, classifying, summarizing, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting numerical information. This course includes statistical methods used in studying business and economic data, averages and dispersions, probability, sampling, statistical inference, estimation, tests of hypotheses, index numbers, linear regression, and correlation.
