MATH 1323 - Quantitative Mathematical Reasoning

Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 3
Prerequisite(s): Placement by an ACT Math score of 19+ or equivalent ACCUPLACER Math score 245+ or MATH 1023 Intermediate Algebra with a grade of “C” or better, or MATH 1053 - Foundations of Quantitative Literacy  with a grade of “C” or better, or Math 1063 Foundations of College Algebra with a grade of “C” or better, or MATH 1233 - Technical Mathematics  with a grade of “C” or better.
This course is designed to satisfy the math requirement for degrees and programs that are non-STEM and do not require College Algebra. This course is designed to help students understand mathematics in everyday life. Students will use algebra, logic, proportions and relations to solve problems as consumers, employees, and citizens in today’s society. Offered in fall, spring, and summer.
