Prerequisite(s): ECDT 1113 - Essential Elements of Child Care , EDUC 1113 - Early Childhood Field Experience , EDUC 1013 - Introduction to Early Childhood Education , and EDUC 2333 - Child Growth and Development 
This course is an in-depth study of methods, materials, and curricula necessary to implement the goals and objectives of early childhood education based on the National Council of Professional Recognition’s six competency goals and thirteen functional areas. Offered in spring only A grade of “C” or better is required for passing.
