CRIM 1213 - Juvenile Delinquency and Justice

Prerequisite(s): COMP 1123 - Introduction to Computers  with a “C” or better and READ 1213 - Developmental Reading  with a “C” or better or test score exemption Pre/ - CRIM 1313 - Introduction to Criminal Justice 
This course provides an exploration of the sociological nature of juvenile delinquency and how society defines and deals with delinquency. This course explores the theoretical concepts of delinquency and looks at the acts of delinquency, the results of delinquency, the results of delinquent acts, and the victims of juvenile delinquency. Students are also introduced to juvenile justice practices. Offered in fall only
